SHELF LIFE
Maximum of 6 months at <25°C for concentrate in 1 litre bottles, maximum of 14 months in 20 litre cartons and 50 litre blue kegs at <10ºC.
A 30 day shelf life should be achievable if packed under hygienic conditions and maintaining the cold chain throughout 4 – 7 °C
Shelf life is reduced by 50% for every increase of 10 °C, and products should therefore be kept at a cool temperature. Store products away from sunlight/UV light, because product is sensitive to light and will oxidise. (browning).
Preservatives might cause allergic reactions to sensitive people.
Special handling instructions: Handle product with care to prevent leaking of concentrate. Upon opening, make sure to decant in a hygienic manner.
The diluted ready to drink juice has a 100% juice content, calculated according to S.A. Regulations, R286 of 1980
INTENDED USE STATEMENT:
The product is intended to be used by other food companies that dilute the concentrate at the specified dilution to produce products for the consumer market.
This product is not for consumption directly by consumers.
GMO Status:
This product is “not genetically modified” and “not derived from a genetically modified organism” as defined by the EC Directives 1830/2003/EC on labelling and traceability and 1829/2003/EC on genetically modified food and feed and any amending legislation.
Contaminants and residues (Pesticides /Heavy Metals/ Veterinary residues):
The product complies with the Government Notice No.R.1518 of 9 September 1994 in terms of section 15(1) of the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act, 1972 (Act No 54 of 1972).
