COMPOSITION
Milled ginger is a dark caramel to light brown, cloudy and viscous liquid prepared from clean, sound Ginger roots (Zingiber officinale) extracted by mechanical processes and thermally treated before being packed aseptically.

INTENDED USE STATEMENT AND POSSIBLE VULNERABLE GROUPS
The product is intended to be used as an ingredient by other food companies that produce products for the consumer market. This product is not for consumption directly by consumers. In foods and beverages, ginger is used as a flavouring agent. Ginger can cause mild side effects including heartburn, diarrhoea, burping, and general stomach discomfort. Ginger has moderate interactions with medications for blood clotting, high blood pressure and diabetic medicine.
GMO STATUS:
This product is “not genetically modified” and “not derived from a genetically modified organism” as defined by the EC Directives 1830/2003/EC on labelling and traceability and 1829/2003/EC on genetically modified food and feed and any amending legislation.

PREPARATION AND/OR HANDLING BEFORE USE OR PROCESSING:
Clean lids of drums before opening to remove any foreign material on top.
Open aseptic bag in a hygienic way in a closed environment before use.
