COMPOSITION

Lemon zest is processed from the Lemon peel from Citrus limon(L.). Sound, mature lemon fruit is washed and peel chopped to 3mm cubes. Main components of lemon zest are essential oil containing predominantly monoterpene hydrocarbons, monoterpene aldehydes, phenylpropanoids, carotenoids, organic acids and pectins.

The product is intended to be used as an ingredient by other food companies that produce products for the consumer market. This product is not for consumption directly by consumers. Might present a choking hazards to small children.

PREPARATION / HANDLING BEFORE USAGE:

Open bags in a hygienic manner in a closed, clean environment to prevent cross contamination.

GMO STATUS:

This product is “not genetically modified” and “not derived from a genetically modified organism” as defined by the EC Directives 1830/2003/EC on labelling and traceability and 1829/2003/EC on genetically modified food and feed and any amending legislation.
